GCF Calculator
The GCF of 24 and 36 is 12.
GCF, GCD and HCF name the same greatest common divisor. Enter at least two whole numbers. Negative inputs use their absolute values; at least one input must be nonzero.
| Numbers | GCF |
|---|---|
| 12, 18 | 6 |
| 24, 36 | 12 |
| 48, 60 | 12 |
| 54, 81 | 27 |
| 18, 24, 30 | 6 |
| 17, 29 | 1 |
How to find the GCF
Divide the larger number by the smaller one. Replace the pair with the smaller number and the remainder. Repeat until the remainder is zero; the last nonzero divisor is the GCF.
